Hello! Thank you for visiting me, my name is Cayupe (Ka-you-peh) and I love dogs. Very frequently people can't pronounce and/or remember my name, so I have decided I can go with pretty much anything that sounds close to it and for sure, won't be offended :o)

I am the owner and main photographer of Eclipsi Photography. I've been enjoying the amazing experience of seeing, creating and documenting unforgettable moments . I am truly fascinated by people, culture, languages and of course our beautiful planet. It gets my attention when people talk to me about the place where they plan on being photographed: they all seem to be attracted to the idea of being outdoors at some point, and I am an outdoors-person :o) It looks as though they are not complete until they are photographed somewhere outside. I love that! Establishing a connection between who we are, and the world around us, is almost instinctive, whether it is the beach, the mountains, the woods, the sea, being in the snow, the desert, on top of a big rock, or a tree, in a grassy area, under the rain or in the middle of downtown in the heart of a city. Gotta love outdoors :o)

I am very thankful for the opportunities I've had to share a little bit of me with all the beautiful people I've met in these last six years. I am infinitely grateful to all for allowing me to be part of their lives and capture so many precious moments in so many different places that our planet kindly shares with us. And I mean it; people that I've never seen, people that I've never talked to or known about!. These people have somehow, bonded with me through my images, they feel like they can relate with my vision, with what I choose to photograph and the way I do it; and why not, they have even allowed me to inspire their reality and modify it when they don't know what to do with it, and at the same time, by being the journalist while documenting some of the most important times of their entire lives. Just like that!. People invest a lot of their time, effort, planning, excitement and money into ONE BIG day, they put all their trust in me, and they expect in return, a wonderful representation of that day in images, with an artistic touch of classy elegance, yet spontaneous and fun. What a responsibility! But I love that responsibility :o) Being in a position to create, to help them express themselves, to show them things that many times go unnoticed, to revive the laughter and the tears, the peace and the anxiety, the melancholia and the joy of being surrounded by the people they care about, to capture images where they look radiant, charming and enjoying brief moments of life, is an experience I absolutely love.

I am aware that we live in a world with plenty of technology. We can communicate via email, however, I personally believe that the result of any photograph is not based solely on the camera alone, nor on the combination of a camera and the photographer, but on the bond between the camera, the artist behind it and the people in front of it. The lack of connection, the lack of communication, could easily misrepresent one or the other. I am a faithful advocate of a phone call and even more so, of face to face interaction.
