Senior Photography for Guys: Christian from Ironwood Ridge’s Stylish Downtown Goodbye

Christian’s Downtown Tucson Senior Session was a bit of a farewell before he left for an interesting endeavor. He’s a Tucson-born senior who will be graduating from Ironwood Ridge High School and will be joining the US Coast Guard. As a way to say goodbye, he wanted to get some of the most iconic places in Downtown Tucson as part of his High School memories.

When questioning what to wear for your upcoming Senior Session, don’t get too stressed thinking you have to wear a suit as your formal outfit—Christian nailed it without too much effort. He combined classic black jeans and a plain mock turtleneck shirt with a jacket to make it more formal without the need to wear a tie. The perfect touch for his outfit: the black suede moccasins to match his jacket texture. It was a kind of in-between casual and formal attire with a whole lot of personality. LOVED IT!

That red velvet jacket against city textures? so striking. And his second outfit—casual, colorful, relaxed—fit right in with the bold downtown streets.

This session wasn’t just about taking photos. It was about freezing this moment in time before Christian takes the next big step. Who is to say that by the time he comes back home, new murals will be taking over the walls, more buildings will be built, and the Downtown Tucson he once knew will look so much different than when he left. Those iconic spots like the 4th Ave, the underpass, Hotel Congress, and the cityscape may have a new look! Only time will tell.
